06011 English Vocabulary and Reading 词汇与阅读 Grade 6 (New)

11 sessions in the Winter term to go through half of the textbook. This course will continue in the Spring term.
In the consumable Student Edition, 20 academic vocabulary words are presented per unit. Students will:
- Read new words in the introductory informational text passage including historical nonfiction, newspaper editorial, expository essay, persuasive essay, magazine articles, debates, and more
- Acquire new vocabulary through eight exercises including definitions, sentence completion, synonyms and antonyms, word study, writing and more
- Encounter the words in excerpts from classic literature
